Hello everyone!
It's been quite a long time but I'm back in Ireland, and thus back in contact with you all and the Thomas community
And wow I have a TON of notifications, so I've got quite a few to go through! xD The biggest being a lot of questions on 'Waddling Respect' and dam, Hornby vs Bachmann Emily STILL gets a ton of attention, I see like 20+ new comments on that alone
I can see a lot's happened, particularly that JOURNEY BEYOND SODOR's just come out, but has anything else major happened? Someone grill me in on the gossip ;D
Aaanyways two major things to say,
1) I'll give JBS a review once i've both watched it and caught up with other general thoughts on it. From what i've seen so far it's a divided reaction, with half the community saying its good (Not many saying amazing though no?) while the other half are saying it's bad.
2) I'll be uploading a video soon. A video that I had already put together prior to my 'Journey Beyond Ireland', but I decided I'd prefer to let the actual episode soak in more views and upload the behind the scenes/deleted scenes etc video afterwards. Handy way of signalling that I'm back also.
Anyways it's good to be back and settle back to my usual goings on and upcoming stuff, and to be able to regularly keep up with the Thomas fandom again. SOMEONE GIVE ME ALL THE GOSSIP/GOINGS ON I'VE MISSED ;D
UPDATE: WHY ARE THE CHARACTERS BOUNCING. THIS ISN'T F**KING CHUGGINTON OR CARS, DAFUQ IS THIS??
Just seen a clip of JBS at the moment, and I am quite concerned..... do they bounce for the whole thing or was it just a once off thing in a segment of it? Please tell me it's the second...

Something the Miller Era did better
Everyone tends to categorize different era of Thomas, which makes sense, because when you look back on the TV series, it's actually been one big clusterf**k of different production companies, management, writing style and quality etc.
So today I'm here to discuss the Miller Era (Seasons 13-16 & its respective 4 specials), and the current BWBA era.
Ok, before I begin this,
I'm not trying to compare or consider one era over the other. Honestly? I think both are pretty bad in their own ways. But that's not what this article is about.
Instead I'm here to point out one glaring element that the Miller Era did better than the BWBA era.

A Surprising Encounter
I wanted to share something that happened while I was on holiday the last two weeks.
I met someone from here, (the online Thomas community) in person for the first time. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, since a lot of users meet up regularly all the time, but for me, I had assumed for years now that I'd never actually meet one of the many pals I've made in my BlueE2 alter-ego online persona.
Long story short, myself, my girlfriend and the friend we were staying with spontaneously took a 2 hour train ride over to London. (Hindsight, well worth it, we were fools not to have had London in our travel plans)
At some point we go into o
Let's Review: The Great Race
I wrote this up using the following elements a few days ago,
*A delayed flight, *A tablet & phone combo (Tablet to type, phone to watch), and *A fast asleep GF leaving me with nothing to do
Basically I had loads of time to kill and wanted to do something to occupy myself. I remember debating which Thomas special was better or worse, The Great Race, or Journey Beyond Sodor.
Honestly? Both do have their charms, and notable setbacks. So, I already reviewed JBS, so here's TGR, which I fortunatly found a full version on Dailymotion.
-Thomas pulling the Local. Straight up, breaking continuity from the previous special 'Legend of the Lost Tr
Talyllyn Railway Engines: Favourite Colours
This is a bit of randomness I came up with to keep myself occupied when waiting for a bus the other day.
Definetly due to Thomas-bias, the Talyllyn Railway is one of my favourite real life UK preserved lines, to which I often glance at its FB page to keep up with what's going on with the line and its engines.
Most of the steam engines on the line have had a variety of different liveries over the years of their service. Here's my list of my livery preferences for each loco :)
Talyllyn No.1
Although I love its current Red livery, it's a mixed bag for me. Current red, a dark green it once wore, and its previous black livery all look nice on
